Siding
Your home’s siding is its first line of defense, shielding the interior from the elements. Over time, exposure to harsh weather can cause wear and tear, leaving your home vulnerable to cold, heat, and moisture. Damaged or aging siding can lead to higher energy costs, water damage, and diminished curb appeal. Upgrading your siding is more than a cosmetic improvement; it’s an investment in your home’s durability and energy efficiency. Michaelson Railey Improvements uses high-quality materials like Hardie Board, Alside vinyl, and CertainTeed vinyl which provide excellent protection while boosting your home’s visual appeal. About Dayton, MD
A post office has been operating in the community since July 21, 1864, with brief interruptions during the American Civil War. By 1878, Dayton had grown to include three general stores and a wheelwright shop. One of these stores, Maloney’s General Store, was built shortly after the Civil War.
The Dayton single-room schoolhouse was originally located along Green Bridge Road. After a fire destroyed the single-room school for African American children, a new two-room school was constructed at the crossroads of Ten Oaks, Green Bridge, and Howard Roads. The African American children were relocated to the old white schoolhouse. The two-room schoolhouse now sits on property owned by RLO Contractors.
Dayton is located in the 21036 zip code, which is recognized as the wealthiest in the Baltimore metropolitan area. As of 2013, the average family net worth in this zip code was $1.85 million, earning it the designation of a “super” zip code.
